In our manufacturing and logistic system, we continuously invest in the latest technology which allows us to handle the variety from a single product order to a large complete interior solution with hundreds of work stations, all adapted to the need of our customers in an efficient way and with shortest possible delivery time. Using digital solutions we have integrated all steps in the business process, from designing an interior solution together with our customers, via manufacturing and to the delivery and hand over to the end users all over Europe and beyond. By having capability and capacity to handle the complete process from interior design to hand over with own resources, we can live up to our promises with quality in every step.
We take responsibility for our entire supply chain - from production to the time it arrives with the customer. For a single customer, we can deliver and install over 100 workstations a day and up to 500 in a week, which our delivery teams fit, and install, with minimal disruption. Orders within Europe are completed in 4-6 weeks and we also deliver worldwide.
Every day 24 fully loaded containers leave our factories to deliver workspace solutions designed for prosperity and wellbeing. In our optimized transportation systems, we don’t use card board boxes, which allows us to load the products like in a jigsaw puzzle, using recyclable blankets to protect the products. This makes it possible to load up to 50% more products compared to the normal standard in our industry, when using the same container size. All deliveries are optimized using an advanced route planning system, which is also linked to the production planning. We’ve also invested in a modern fleet of eco-friendly vehicles to reduce our environmental impact further and since 2014 we’ve reduced emissions by 7%.
Our core business is centered around creating inspiring, effective workspaces that contribute to success. All while adapting an holistic perspective. Our view on sustainability can be summarised by a simple business philosophy: Better at Work. This involves striving to understand each individual organisation’s workspace requirements, both in terms of products and services. Our goal of long-term sustainable development originates from and is maintained through continuous improvements and planned development. We strive to create a responsible and value-adding balance between the needs of our customers and stakeholders, concern for the environment and people we affect, and a stable economy. The Kinnarps Group Sustainability Program was developed out of our company strategy and core values.
Prevention involves identifying and preventing any unwanted effects, risks and behaviour, always addressing the problem at the source.
We are communicative, maintaining an open and continuous dialogue on the company’s sustainability program and progress, both internally and with external stakeholders.
Management and all individuals employed by Kinnarps Group are required to follow this and other policies, legislative requirements, routines and other company rules.
We increase and improve our competence in order to ensure compliance to company policy, to meet targets and to adhere to and improve routines.
